Allusions to painters (picasso) and paintings (Dorian Gray [Oscar Wilde gothic horror lit]) turn the visual cogs in my head. Word choice precise: "the scalpel is still warm with the unintended oh-so bittersweet ideals of your innocence." Emphasis especially given to 'oh-so bittersweet' as it is used again a couple sentences later. I probably would choose a synonym. I don't know, it may grow on me. Sometimes repetition of this sort is powerful: "Nothing matters but the oh-so bittersweet serenity of being young." Lots of introspective/thought provoking lines in this poem...ending particularly.
