This poem surely thinks outside the box in redefining love...very refreshing originality with seemingly horrific scenes that somehow fit with the subjective...love is an action, afterall! From beginning to end it rocks...no dull moments or hiccups. Unusual spacing and tight line economy makes for 'beautiful word garden on white' (nice 'look'). Tone is up close and personal, just the way it should be for the reader to own it. 'Love is'...reading a poem like this. thx Ms. Ruth. Glad to see you on the 'regulars' list, by the way. I look forward to the next one.
