hello

hello
by oswald james
           i saw a fallen starburst
   glowin ‘pon a rock ring
in the flicker of a water spark
i drowned in a sleep of inconvenience
            as i mumbled something
                                  out of key
   into a bathtub
while mirrors made me weary
                 of a black and white outta greyhound
                     of a desert
                        in a telephone call
that informs you that everyone is coming over
           * hide your baby*
