church fair

church fair
by Cerebella
eyes eyes eyes
cat eyes
green eyes
louder than the bigger than the
the garden
if dirty,
the birds
are not
starving
squeak
shame
labyrinth
refrain
no pleasure
not even
while
unarranged
little childrens books
little childrens books
&an iv drip
puddle on
your arm,
the bridge
little childrens books
easter the alphabet
oinky pink pig
rainbow fish
you a puddle
your arm
the bridge
cheshire smile
on your charm bracelet
satan
on your chest
grinning laughing
satan
marks your sheets
cheapening
the clawed back
repent sinner
it’s so useless,
that’s what
you know.
repent
repent
repent
repent
repent
blind deaf dumbass heart of tapeworms

  1. “squeak – shame – labyrinth – refrain” — though I don’t care for that sort of percussive tone in poetry, there’s something about the combination of those words that I like. The whole poem is quite interesting in fact. It has a lyrical quality and yet isn’t too sing-songy.

    1. thanks cloyd. i’m glad you noticed, i’m trying to work in a more rhythmic ‘medium’ recently. haven’t been reading much poetry, angry music is totally my higher power right now. i’m also trying to be as dirty and disgusting as possible. catharsis is top priority right now, helping me balance my anger and produce things i love. things that are ‘me’, stripping away any self-censoring.
