and bugs in the ear

have zero tolerance
for second guesses

sheriff’s department drone
nails an errant black bear

dumpster diving
without a license

warm colorful spoor
blocking this trail

space based gyroscopes circle in
on an uncertain center of gravity

blood on the knob tells me
don’t go through that door

newborns wrapped in cabbage leaves
free radicals restrained by covalent bonds
