Junction City Nervous As The Moon
Junction City Nervous As The Moon
by Patrick Longe
junction city nervous as the moon,
tracking blood (sad sights as well as good news)
what’s fake as all been played out in mediaville
manna gears into mantra mirrors do mania edits
one dead smile lulled out of the labels
monsters up the whiskey in the house that keeps
junction city, metro where conspires still flesh
and itching edge, nervous whittling the means away
from complacency to jagged pleasantries, that spill
sweetly in the tooth of hardscrabble, street scenes
this is how great aqueducts and knowledge blur
pouring out defenses hiding the agenda, as mediums do
